Not that anyone noticed, but I have been in the background for a while. Now and than I had time to post or to vote. The reason is that I got sacked on my other job (I worked as a technical engineer on a shipyard). business is very slow these days, so I had to go.

No problem so far. But I had to start my own company. And since I like to do so many things, it had to be very broad.

So now I have a service company. I do ships, construction, websites and even taxes. I put it all together in one company called Wollcot dienstverlening (that's English and Dutch, English for Wollcot and Dutch for Service center or office)

I just send out my first bill (and hope to get paid) So I had to make a logo for the company. It turned out to be this:



I think it's pretty neat and it looks also great in grayscale.

Thusfar my reason for not being here so often. In the near future I hope to get more time to post something. Till then I'll enjoy all your beautifull entries

I had noticed that you were posting with less regularity. But since everybody has to eat, starting a new company sounds like a good way to insure that there is food on the table. However that is probably a very work intensive and stressful enterprise, so I wouldn't expect to see you having a lot of free time to "chop".
I do like your new logo. It is artfully crafted with an appealing color scheme.
Wishing you every success in this new business venture and so much business that you will be able to retire early and chop away your golden years.

Thanks for all your warm wishes. I'm sure it will pay of in the near future. Also it is much fun doing all this different kinda jobs alltogether. It never gets bored
