Hi Alkharid,
The "Brickhead King" (todays contest) was mine. I blended the bricks into the head with multiple techniques. There really was no easy way. First I started by extending the head using the cloning tool , healing brush, dodge and burn tools, and air brush. Then I place the bricks in position. I wanted the transition to be somewhere in the middle of the bricks. I started masking out the bricks with a very soft, fairly large aibrush set to 30% opacity. Here is where the crazy parts come in. I created a channel mask using the brick image. Then I used a render/lighting effects using that new channel mask. I did this on a duplicate head layer right where the bricks start to join the head. This gave the head a brick texture while still having a fleshtone. I dodged and burned the bricks to have the same shadows and highlights as the head. I'm sure none of this is making sense, so I will tell you an easy experiment. Place the bricks in position over a shot of a bald head. (google search). Set the layer mode of the bricks to overlay and see what happens. Try different modes (soft light and hard light work well sometimes). Mask out with a soft brush where needed. Try desaturating the bricks first and then try different modes. It's mostly trial and error. What works with one image does not always work with the next.Good luck. Let me know if this helped or if I just confused you. I will try to write out a more detailed description if you want. Mostly, have fun!!!
Enjoy.

Yes, ReyRey... you seem to have a reasonable control of the English language (I ain't seen you doing nuthin bad with it yet!) and it would be great if you could do a TUT (tutorial) or two for this site's TUTORIAL area.

Think about all the good karma that you'd be getting.
(You certainly won't get much else from this crew! Razz)

And your fan-base will spread Most Hugely!

Cool
