Have any of you seen this? It doesn't ship for another 6-8 weeks but it's intriguing.

I noticed that it says there's support for .psd files but it "supports only flattened PSD files without Alpha channels".

What's the preliminary thoughts from the community? Will it threaten PS or is PS too entrenched now?

You can't "chop" with it.It's just an advanced photo
processing prog--neat that it lets you work in raw-
as if that's important-- I guess it could be
if your printing out billboards.

I never did catch a reason why the "REAL" choppers like to work in "RAW" .
Anyone know the answer?
These programs that can work in and save Raw files are freaking huge hogs.

raw doesn't compress the file data at all, therefore any setting can be applied with optimal results


anyway I guess it's pretty useless if you already have PS
