Eve wrote: barely a vote is cast by those who reign over all DAY AFTER EFFING DAY.
I'd just like clarification on such a damning statement is all.

I'm not dodging. It makes sense though that someone who's leading a contest may not use all their vote lest they give others more, thus standing the chance of not winning. Let's do the math. If there's 90 entries and everyone uses their votes....uhhhh...let's see (where's that damn calculator?)...there should be 2250 votes! How often do you see anything close to that? Come on, now, I'm not trying to engage in a knock down, drag out argument but am curious. Can you agreee with that?

but you never use all your votes,
you use about 18 per contest if I'm not mistaken-
which is very good, don;'t get me wrong.
I'd like to know who you mean though, we can clear this right up.

Well, If I'm winning or near winning a contest , I certainly won't give the second placer or the guy that's besting me a vote if I think my image is better-
but I do that for everybody- like jerrys image yesterday- I didn't vote for it-
it is very voteworthy but If I think an image is doing better than it should I won't give it a vote-
is that wrong?
I rarely vote for guys like Billtvshow either,
I feel he regularly wins contest where his image isn't the best in that contest.
and I don't vote for you.
When I see someone has voters who regularly vote for them nomatter what, I pass on voting for them, it
helps keep a balance IMHO.

Whoa, Scion, you're getting awfully personal when that's NOT what this is about. Don't know where you're getting your stats re: MY votes (lol-- are you actually counting through the contests???) Too funny. I've been using just about each of my dear 25 votes for quite awhile. I especially like to give a vote to those who have zip, nada, zero as encouragement BECAUSE WINNING ISN'T THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ON MY MIND.
Now, can we be clear that if there are 98 entries and everyone uses at least half their votes, (ummm, 12.5 votes) there should be 1225 votes for that contest, right?
How can you not see what I'm asking? (Is your neck red?) Just kidding, really, let's play nicely, ok? This forum isn't for airing dirty linen or whatever that saying is. I don't have ANYTHING against anyone on this site. I love the talent and even love some of your entries sometimes, Scion! (Sorry couldn't help myself.)

Hey, come to think of it, I've voted for lots of your entries you talented SOB. I think you must be spending too much time in front of your computer to keep track of who's voting for whom, when and where and how and for how long. Most of us on this site are adults and have discriminating tastes. I'd like to believe that the majority vote for works that touch them, not keeping a tally of who votes,... blah, blah, blah.
Oh, and to be clear, I meant "you talented SOB" in the best possible way.
Lighten up!

HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is fun, I'm not being mean, honest.
Yes- your vote average over the last twelve contest is exactly 18,41 votes per contest-
Honestly, if you were to check carefully and count the voptes of all those who have been in the top three seed in the last two weks contest
you would find that the average top three vote getter uses 23.4 votes per contest.
I have always been one to try and give the "encouragement vote".
I am careful about it though- a new guy I like who is trying may get several from me- and then more whenever they try something new or improve.
Giving votes to people who arent tryuing is very misleading to them if you continue to do it.
Your on yer way, certainly to being a very talented chopper, do not
become discouraged over ANY thing.
Thanks for the compliment- check my portfolio- if I can improve from the garbage I used to post- then anyone can-
I'm sure of that, cause I am a slow learner and I do ok now.

SO, if I ever see you vote for me, I'll discount it immediately and know you hit the vote button purely by accident. I can assure you that I will use all of my 25 votes per contest whenever I can. And, per chance, one of yours grabs me, tugs on my heart strings, makes me gasp in horror or splendor BY ALL MEANS I'LL GIVE YOU A VOTE. I don't discriminate. I try to connect to those whose work I admire. That might mean through a PM or vote or a date (oh, wait, I'm married, strike that). I refuse to stoop to empty promises for votes...so far that is. Please save me from myself and make certain that I use all of my votes in perpetuity (sp?). I'm COUNTING on you...lol get it?
Okay, no one else wants to join in so I'm guessing this forum is over.
Now I can sleep easy. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Hi again Eve,
Yeah, I like following what people are up to.
I find many things very interesting.
Do you know that in the last fifty contest that AlmostPerfect entered,
Goldenslumbers voted 45 times for AP?
Almostperfect voted for 48 out of Goldenslumbers last fity entrys.
Every chop that had no other votes at least had eachothers.
For goldenslumbers who only gives out five votes per contest- AP is a full one third of the votes he gives. For that to make sense, realize that many days he only gives AP a vote and then occasionally he'll have a day that he does a lot of voting.
Is this the kind of motivational votes you were thinking of?
I can give a lot more examples if you like.

Your simply amazing...
If you can't dazzle them with brillance...and you are, Scion.
This is what I was getting at. Look at the posts and the ultimate votes and you'll see how far off it is -- usually. I think they ARE selling them on E-BAY (lol)
Just asking that everyone takes time to look at this stuff and use their votes.
Peace!
