I had done a "trace bitmap" version too, I didn't post it, but here it is now.



The curvy front part, among other things, could be a nice gradient if one took time to do the vector drawing manually. I have the .ai file on hand if you are interested.

If I was to make this drawing manually it would take hours for me.

good idea with the gradiant michel, but watch those greens and purples, they are so close flash thinks they are the same color, i had to repaint them.

splodge, I wonder why you get those ugly black lines. Good work on the gradient.

No one here uese Corel anything do they....Corel has a great program called trace does all the work for you...most of it anyway.

Painter by Corel has an effect called sketch which is similar to trace. however I got almost the same results using Find Edges in Photoshop .
