Babies are so cool! Just don't go saying "Oh, I can't wait until my little darling can talk." That's a CRAZY idea! Once the sassback starts, it never ends.
Just kidding--it does go by in the blink of an eye, though. The best parenting advice I've gotten to date is "Enjoy Every Second." You will actually come to miss being up all night feeding the little howler.

wait 'till they're teenagers!
You'll be up nearly all night worrying if they're doing what you were doing at that age!
It's a conundrum...yet we procreate 'cause it's fun and we enjoy the challenge.
