This isn't Photoshop related in any way...I went to Amsterdam a couple of years ago for a vacation and to track down this Swiss guy who was doing a modern translation of Van Gogh's letters. Had a really great time, but something has been bugging me ever since, and hopefully someone in here from there knows the answer.
How do you know which bike is yours at the end of the day? There are hundreds of them parked together, none locked, and they all look identical to me. Do you guys just grab whichever bike you come to first, or what?
I have actually lost sleep wondering about this.

Okay well that's a lot of similar bikes...the ones I saw weren't locked up...maybe one in ten bikes had a lock (usually the nicer bikes). But these bike lots are all freaking over that town...how do you know what bike is yours!?! Especially if you had a coffee shop lunch, if you catch my meaning...which I think you do.
You could see where I would still be wondering about this two years later. Or maybe not.

you might not of noticed the locks, they are built into the frame and look like back brakes most ppl have thier own locks too, to lock the bike to something solid, trust me, bike theft is a huge industry in holland, all those bikes have a lock of some kind or other, when ever i pulled up out side my local bar and walked in without locking my bike all the dutch guys would shout at "get out and lock that bike" or atleast thats what i thought they were saying
i hope you can sleep better at night now

lol I had a cheap ass bike ages ago but it had a lock, turned out not a very good one, but the kind theif did leave the wheels for me, what a nice guy.
Built a pretty good wheelchair using a blow torch couple of metal rods for axel and a plank of wood, well it was more like a go kart gone wrong, and it did put my best mate in hospital. Because it also turns out, I'm not a very good welder
......ahhh memories, let the wavey lines and dream tinkling music begin
