Yes, you are obviously missing something. First, we arent just following the Mods' lead, we all know that to use someone elses work is wrong. What you are asking, is is it ok to use someone's chop from this site and edit it and submit it as your own. That gives you an unfair advantage as the part you used may be very good but its not your work. Using photos from the web is different thing altogether.
