Hi, I'm wanting to get into some more Photoshop and hopefully enter some contests, but I don't really know which Photoshop program to use, my current one is just basic and I can't do anything on it really. What do most of you use? Help wpuld be appreciated

adobe photoshop 7.0 is what I use. Others have CS2 because they're rich little buggers that can afford new pc's with XP to put it on...

Photoshop 7 too, it works fine. I don't know if I really need a newer version.

ps6 and cs1, but ps6 is almost too poor in my opinion.

well I use CS2 and V.7, but I would say I use V.7 alot more, it is faster, and near enough does everything you need for here.

PS7 for me too, but if you are on a tight budget go for PS ellements 2 or 3, great for learning at a fraction of the cost

PScs2 here.....yeah yeah yeah just went and pulled a few leaves off my money tree out back......who needs a copy ....lol
As mentioned before though ...70 is just fine if u r just getting into this mania!!!
Remeber always to hit alt-f4 together before saving ...puts file in a special photoshop file location makes it easy for futuer editing !!!!

Whats sad is I actually have acess to a (legal) copy of the latest Adobe programs, as well as XP, all for free, but my crap PC can't run it... waaaaaaah! But as you see, Marco is one of the few who have CS2 apparently, and look at all the wins he has! It has nothing to do with skill, just who has the most recent version! its true I'm telling you!

Im confused... what does XP have to do with it? I have 2000 on mine and CS2.
I have CS2 through my work, but I was using PS 5 when I started here, so basically just get a copy and start trying different things out.
