hi all,
Maybe this is a stupid question, but then laugh after awnsering please
I would like to now where the blending mode screen is in ps. I'm trying to follow tutorials and i came across this term a few times. I try to search for it but i cant find it. ( i work with a dutch version of ps) Also tried to translate the word but it comes out with something in dutch that means monitor.
Help please? The tut tells you to do it, but it doesnt show wich one that may be.
If you tell me what place it stands in the drop down menu i will know where to find it.
Thanks!

hey wendy:
you can access the blending options by double clicking on a layer, in your layers palette. There, you will be able to change the modes.
I hope this is what you are refering to

not exactly but tnx! , i know where to change it, but i don't know wich one to choose cause i have a dutch ps and i cant figure out wich option to choose in dutch for "screen"
i know it is in the dropdown menu of normal, darken, lighten, color etc... but there are a few i dont know in english. in dutch it says:
normal
spread
darken
multiply etc.. i think that is the same order as in the english version, so if you can tell me wich option it is, like 6ht, 7th ??

Ha! I missed splodge's screen shot too or I wouldn't have posted mine. Anyway if you are using an older version of PS than it would be in a different place. I have several versions so if you need it I can make a screen shot of whatever version you need.

Now my turn to look dumb. Anyone know of a site that explains what each bleding mode actually does? Even better if it has good examples of when to use each one.
