Boy...this was one of the hardest votes to cast in the entire first round...I really really like the wasps picture. Of course, I could be wrong, but it has "the master's" signature all over it: nice colouring, nice motion, nice depth, nice grain....but...if it really IS the master's one, then I'm a bit 'dissappointed' about one little aspect of it: the lighting. The lighting on the paw and the rest of the scenery is off. In Dutch we say 'high trees catch a lot of wind'. That - AND because of the fact that I think this evening picture is great TOO AND, more importantly, it is flawless - is why my vote goes to this one. Nonetheless: great work; the both of you!
