I knew there had to be more to the wall than just a random assortment of blocks, so I stepped back and blurred my eyes and saw it clearly. Really cool work. Also will give some love to the other entry for one thing that more people should have done, recreating block in the foreground so that they are crisp instead of stretched out versions of the originals.

Leaning this way purely for the effort of making Mario out of the blocks. Both are nice images. I think the large blocks in the other image look a bit too much like cardboard boxes (maybe they could match the originals in color/texture a bit better). Nice job on both images...tough choice.

How can I NOT vote for Mario! It took me a while to notice the 8-bit Mario in the blocks but when I did I was so surprised, it could have won by itself! The Baby Mario looks weird...the other entry is well executed but doesn't seem very creative to me unfortunately.
