Both are good efforts. I think the other may have lighting issues (source would mostly be from above so perhaps multiple-layer shadows?). This tells and entertaining story, glyphs and all.

I like the spin on Egyptian slavery in this chop! The other chop did well with the resolution of the blocks but its also not very interesting im afraid. This source pic has some great potential and I vote for those people with out of the box ideas!

I will go with this one. Not an easy choice. Funny has hell! Weird concept! The other one has great shadows, nice depth, but due to an ordinary idea, the execution need to be better on the dices... not easy to blow it up and work on the crispness but it is possible to do way better on this detail... sad because shadows and perspective integration was overall excellent.
