This is the most visually appealing image of the round. I love the crispness of the foreground against the blurred background but the lighting of the main source swings around the rock a little too much, but almost don't even care. I've taken the image to Photoshop and quickly flung the burn tool on the foreground to see what this looks like if the light was coming from behind and right and it looks alright, but the mood is a lot colder and is just less interesting. So even though the light isn't quite right, I like the result here. The water also seems like it's unnaturally placed above the ground.... very mysterious as if the rock is on top of the source of the water perhaps. I like these contrasting elements in this image which complement a fantasy feel. The other image contains a lot of interesting things. Looks like a collection of tormented creatures a couple of cats have put together. It is artistic with a touch of ghostly atmosphere. The cat's eyes look so innocent yet look at the trouble it is causing. Typical cat. That style is very unique and I like how it brings together objects differently than what comes to mind of a typical chop where each element is made to look natural to the environment. It's interesting in it's own individual style. My personal taste gravitates to the sword in the stone in this match.
