FootFungas
the ladder looks way too tilted
marcoballistic
the writing at the bottom of the door part of the advert says: Produced by marcoballistic media group madeupwebaddress.com... if anyone is wondering :)
marcoballistic
how do you mean FF?
marcoballistic
some confusion over whats happening here according to some messages I've had,so for those people, it is an advert on the glass for how the new platforms will look when completed. it is an approach to electric door and you can see the already finished.
marcoballistic
... interior where shops etc are, the image is broken as the doors are opening as the viewer approaches, the orignal image was extended down using the source. The glass is mirror glass, hence the shadow being towards the viewer...
marcoballistic
...the glass, banner and door/glass housing is all PS...that about covers all the questions asked ha ha so hope this clears it up, didn't really want to explain it, but I was worried about how ambitious this was. ah well :D
marcoballistic
no G, it shouldn't, its an straigh image of the future station. basically its a gigantic advert for the upcoming station redesign..... I really have confused everyone ha ha ha
marcoballistic
this is a perfect example of when an image does need explaining perhaps ha haaa
GrampZ
Wait..... now I'm confused again! Ahhhhhhhhhhh! I thought it was "the train is behind me as I'm looking into the opening door and can see the lady inside" thing going on.......
GrampZ
Yeah, and where's the blood?!

[img] i4.tinypic.com... The white box is the current plane the ladder is sitting on, while the darker one would be the correct plane based upon the vanishing point of your ground.
marcoballistic
only if you are going off the angle of the original source, which as it is a picture on a window it isn't, the ladder was correct to the outside floor, everyone is getting confused and treating the original image as reality....
marcoballistic
simply put the original source is an advert on the glass, with no bearing on angles or perspective of anything else in the scene :)
billtvshow
i wasn't, im talking about the vanishing point of the real part, the continuance of the floor into the inside of the building
marcoballistic
point taken on board Stephen,as the ladder is angled though I feel the corrections is not as great as you point out.I do agree with you though the front rigth leg is slightly out & should be lower.Heres the source for the ladder for those who want it

Feral Hamster
how did btvs lift the ladder up like that? he's using some crazy witchcraft!!
marcoballistic
lol Feral, the main give away to my plan, is the image joins when the doors are closed, as it is, you can see it is broken on closer inspection. I love the way this has confused so many people ha ha
billtvshow
it's not to hard to see, you have the concrete floor outside, then you go into the building at the doors and there's one of those metal wipe your feet grate things, and then marble floor, and then you have an advertisement for the new phase of the

station painted on the doors.
billtvshow
but yeah, until you described it, it looked like a reflection hehe
marcoballistic
lol Stephen, tell me about it, the broken image and the small writing at the bottom of the ad on the doors were the clues, but hey, I knew what I wanted it to look like, guess when you have been looking and working on something for a while...
marcoballistic
...you forget what other peoples first thought may be :D
Feral Hamster
ah, i see now...it's a picture...if the doors were closed, the tracks would line up instead of being broken like they are now. ok, the russian judge adds another tenth for degree of difficulty.
marcoballistic
lmao Feral, one by one people are seeing the true way of it all :D
ScionShade
The view through the door into the station is out odf proportion, inless the doors and the viewer are 15 ft. tall. Even with the multiple explanations I had a hard time getting it because the perspective is off.
marcoballistic
think of it as a large pile of shit, and then it will all be ok ha ha ha
