I'd suggest maybe going into blue tones and using the water tutorial (this looks like smudged?). Also the light on both sides doesn't make sense. One side should be shadow too. Fantastic idea so far though.

Invert it (ctrl-i) and you'll get a fantastic night glow image :D. Plus what Mr.Tofu said about the water.
