I know what a vignette is & don't know what Gran's trying to say. This has a dreamy, monochromatic look to support its surrealistic theme. Very creative.

Very nice work and idea. I do feel a tight er square crop of the main subject would be better. The second tree seems to be competing for attention as does the lone jumbo tire.

tadams - the large landscape is a main part of the idea. I wanted to show that after the battle the area is emty and deserted. The tree without leaves is a symbol of the nakedness. The tires left behind; show that there would me more hanging in the tree >

>more> and there is splatter from blood on the tires that shows it was a terrible battle.... But in the background one can see forest and hope. Lots of symbolism when I was making this. That I maybe should have explained :-) Thank you for the feedback.

I understand. Consider cropping the right side just down the main limb so that the landscape trapped by the tree is removed. Aside from trapping the land, it traps the eye.
