Funny idea. I think you made the floor with render fibers? Maybe there is too much contrast between the colors? See hoe the wall has a bright spot and then gets darker towards the top? Well you floor should do the same. Darker as it gets farther from

the wall. Easy way to do this is add a black gradient that start at the bottom of the floor and stops at the wall. (black to transparent) Put it on it's own layer set to multiply. Adjust the layer opacity until you like it.

yes tofu i made the flooring from scratch thanks and andy i think the perspective is about right but agree w/ you on the reflection of the stripe i'll have to keep that in mind next time. thanks everyone for the wonderful crits and suggestions ;)
