nice lighting... great rusty texture... but rust would not have the shinyness if you could tone it down or get rid of the highlites the rust would be more natural looking... none the less good work and idea ;)

Getting rid of the shine should be painless. Copy and past, then work the edges with a soft, low transparency eraser.

does not look rusty at all. more like polished wood. rust wouldn't shine like that, and there would be flakes and stuff. this is nice none-the-less.

good! u know theres a simple trick to add texturecuz the fact its shiny is not that much of a problem or at least if u edit, keep the highlights on a separate layer and

and the good old trick would be to add a bit of Plastic Warp filter with a really shrp and dense settings would give more "asperités" (in french sorry) ... Good job anyway :)
