fun idea ; yes, maybe some more depth on the camels, maybe shadows should be a little longer, these shadows suggest that the sun is more straight up in the sky, but she's not visible on this picture...

heheh, the shadows need some work, remember a shadow fades in intensity the more it moves away from its source, for example the boat's shadow should be darker just below it

I like this but one thing is bothering me. This side of the camels should be in shadow, like the boat. Right now it looks like the sun is hitting on this side but yet the shadows are on the same side that the sun is hitting. Know what I mean??
