I think this was intentional, but the green tinge is too strong and the water too dark. I love it though...

I'll say only ONE THING : S.U.P.E.R.B ! The Idea is wasome, the coulours joyful, the background well chosen... Nothing to had... This should be the winner according to m...! +1

supak0ma
i'm not liking the sunrays but overall very good

Tawiskaro
Ah, the toned down green is better. Lots of likeable stuff here, but I think the subsurface life is out of scale. The mermaids & fish look huge to me. Maybe it's a result of the fish tank view.

Great Rey, maybe the mermaids are a lil big if you compare them to the boat...the background mountains are super!

My favorite of the comp. Is that you standing at the back of the boat? Also, the mermaids look great. :)

I think it is too blue/green, the brilliance is fighting a epic battle with the top half of the image, the mermaids tail going into the water should not be glowing like a neon light, but saying all this, it is epic on a grand scale, really like it.
MindGraph
love the top half. Bottom half would be good if the color was like it is near the surface but then fade the saturation as it goes deeper.

Great idea!
vokaris
Doesn't look quite right - scale of different elements is confusing, mermaids are too small compared to the fish, too big compared to the boat, rocks look like flat cutouts, background on the left, especially the trees, looks out of proportion...
vokaris
...water edge at trees looks wrong, horizon looks too sharp compared to the blurred rocks, there's a bright green goo on the small rocks to the right.
ReyRey
I like big mermaids and fish. I know they are big but when I made them correct you could barely see them so....Big it is. ;o) I will fix the cut out edge. I didn't notice it. Thanks Vok
ReyRey
Tell me what you "DO" like Vok. lol
CarlC
No! I said I like the green! now change it back per Carl lol Mermaids aren't big, they're closer.
ReyRey
Ok Vok. I corrected a lot of what you said. Your right. Much better. Thanks bud. You make me better.
rockyjob
I'm not sure Rey, I know it's hard to get the colors right. I think you could keep the green, but at the same time make it slighty lighter and making it so the colors of mermaids and rocks fade as they get deeper.
rockyjob
This is very very rough, just so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. (I think the main issue is too much contrast underwater): img694.imageshack.us... Remember really rough, just so you can see what I;m talking about.
rockyjob
And I know the example sucks ass :P I only had 15 minutes
ReyRey
I air brushed the boat a bit and even toned down the sun rays.
ReyRey
That's nice rock. Good job. But I'm done updating. I'm going on Vacation in a few minutes up to Maine for Thanksgiving. There are all kinds of water. Some are very cloudy. Some are stained green from the plant life and lack of sun. I'm happy. ;o)
rockyjob
Thats what matters :)
tadams
The underwater rocks should disappear into the background more and shouldn't be as big. They're not lining up with the surface rocks. Their proximity to the maidens places them closer to us than what the top half indicates.
zimocarlos
Very good idea and execution! I wish I have a talent like yours! I'm really having difficulty using PS.
