Great!

I dont think the image would be offset as you have the border coming straight through the glass face however the enlarging and offset at the angle through the edge is correct.. A+

Good work and idea Show, I how the glass falls in side the frame and the dog with its paw covering its eyes" haha!
TofuTheGreat TofuTheGreat
Dang it Show! How the heck are we supposed to think you're just a blow hole if you make great chops? :-P
karell karell
superb :) good job :)
Patre Patre
The transparency and cut edges of the glass are terrific. I also like the outside-in perspective and the way you made the glass fall inside. A thematic image that displays the spirit of the theme..
Persuader Persuader
funny theme and very well done Showcase =)

Great attention to detail, humor, etc. You realize, of course, you've pissed off too many people to get the votes you deserve though, right? :P

A+ work. Haven't seen such realism and humor combined in one chop in awhile. You should post more often!

hmmm... actually you are an idiot show... you put an extra articulation in the dog's arm... have you realized that? ;)

For me, the successful 'edges' on the glass is an "Exceptional" attention to detail and done to perfection, exceptional chop. IMHO Rediculously undervoted so far.

Excellent work, Show -- great technique and story telling. Nice to see you post every now and then. :)

Excellent in many ways. I've always liked these takes on inspirational (or uninspirational ... lol) posters. The additional out of the box glass, and great details (refraction for example) is perfect.

Bud get out of here with your A+, this is clearly an A-... See the border around the trouble, where it is visible through the horizontal line the line should be off set (shift down) if consistent with the offset line above it.
Showcase Showcase
I wasnt sure about refraction, 16ozplug. I did the refraction just to give the outside peices some extra definition and it looked good :)
Showcase Showcase
...and the corner of the lower border just looked too odd when I offset it. maybe it was too thin or something with it being a corner, it just didnt look right. but thanks for the "A" anyway :D

Excellent Cop Show, Detailed scene :) - Kidding on the refraction
Showcase Showcase
Nancers, I get it. Im ok with it. I just get the urge to enter a contest now and then so people like [b]Tofu[b] realize that Im mostly a [i]blow hole[i] that can sometimes put together a decent chop...even if people dont want to vote for me. :D
Showcase Showcase
and thanks 16oz.
Showcase Showcase
and DOH!! bbcode should have been html code...imma idiot.
Showcase Showcase
Thanks Rashdog...for the record tho, this isnt just a transparency. A half dozen layers to make the "glass" from the tiles complete with light and dark edge layers. Simple transparency adjustments wont look like this. :)
rashdog rashdog
didn't mean to imply any simplicity here, show...you're right, transp. adj. would've knocked out those highlights and sucked all the life out of the shadows...lotta work to make this image :)
Showcase Showcase
ok...just making sure :D
