Congratulations on starting this thread, enchantress!
Call me mean-spirited, but I do get a bit tired of seeing all the individual "Congratulations Blahblahblah" threads. It's all very well now while the forum is relatively empty, but at this rate the place is gonna be knee-deep in them soon.
I think a specific "Congrats" thread for certain milestones (like breaking an all-time PSC record) is understandable, but for most purposes it's fine to have generic threads (one for congratulating first time winners, one for congratulating people who pass 1,000 vote mark or whatever, etc etc) and adding their name to that.
Admittedly, some PSCers may overlook it if they don't see a thread that prominently says "Congratulations!" with their
own name in the title - but perhaps sending a private congratulations message too is a better way to draw their attention to our appreciation for their work.
