I dont really like the artistic approach to the other entry. This has a good story to it but was it a lego guy riding the bike or a midget-midget? Waaaay too small when compared to the gutter on the left.

This one has plenty of flaws, but the perspective shift is a nice change of pace and it has some good stuff in spots (the h2h thing was pretty unnecessary though). The other isn't all that bad, but there's just not that much alteration to the door beyond curving it a bit.

Really good job by both of you. Both these entries make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think both of you have a chance to win the whole thing with this kind of work. This work has the feel of an epic marcoballistic chop with the dramatic depth of field and the strong shadows and highlights. My vote goes this way but really could have gone either way. Congrats to both of you and I wish you much luck!

Nice work.. Blurring on top is a bit too much.. and sewer is a bit rezzie.. other entry is pretty good but I'm voting a better use of source

Although confusing as to what the story is saying, my votes goes this way as I personally see the contest as one of photo-manipulation and not photo-abstraction. But that's just a preference as both are well done.

Two outstanding chops. The other is very creative. This one tells a story from foreground to background. One of my favorites of the round. Nice perspective idea.

Nice perspective! Some nice details! Generally excellent! Not sure about the lines of body posture... maybe better an injured body in lying down position, maybe no need of blood but maybe just a little bit of red traces. I don't understand the 4 cracks behind the tire and I feel the helmet a bit too small.

I am honestly and greatly impressed by the creativity of the other but I can't get past the layers of duplication to create... I'm still not sure; whatever it is, it is gorgeous. This one's repositioning of the wall looks simpler but there's effort in the details: subtle motion lines become cracks, door becomes plywood, the red stain, rider becomes corpse -- oops, sorry; proper paint and adding the bottle/holder would have completed the cycle perfectly. Good job to both entrants.

Hardest choice for me. This one tells a story and is a bit truer to the source, though the added depth of field doesn't make sense. Other is beautiful, just not really my style of chop on this site -- it also has some inconsistencies of crispness that bother me (spheres vs metal thingies)...though, being really really picky. It'll be interesting to see who wins this one. Nice work to both!
