The marker thing I never knew about ouija boards, but symbols & letters are used apparently if signals are pointing towards letters on the board, that a spirit is present, but the message is not clear. The markers are meant to help amplify apparently.

oh & the flower is pressed before anyone says it looks a little flat, so its meant to be flat lol, the idea for the surrounds was having personal objcts that meant something to the spirit you wish to contact around the board, also help in calling them/it
