It is nice. With blood! But the raised ring is usually smaller then tunnel, here it makes the back area seem to sit too high from concrete, maybe. Please don't woop me for noticing. ; {)

we shall see Anna, depends how much this part taskes at the box office lol
marcoballistic marcoballistic
or should I say takes..... yes, yes I should ;oP
marcoballistic marcoballistic
I think you are refering to the shadow that goes up the side of the outer metal Martex, it does come back to meet with the upper part of the lid though, maybe a bit to dark in that area to see
ReyRey ReyRey
Marco I took a picture of a cup lit the same way as the drain to show what the inner shadow should look like. img47.imageshack.us... I hope it helps. That is a tough one to figure out without actually setting it up.
ReyRey ReyRey
Also, Gran is right about the cone shape. That is because the perspective of the inner tube is wrong. Sorry bud.
marcoballistic marcoballistic
no I have had discussions with a few peeps about the cone effect, I was going for depth but with an intrigue element of the light. but in doing so pushed the angle to hard and indeed it is rather conical. So cheers for all the pointers on that
marcoballistic marcoballistic
also Rey, without setting it up for experimentation, it was rather hard to get the inner shadow looking right true. Great point. My feeling on this though, was attempting to match it with the external shadowing, even though like you suggest it should...
marcoballistic marcoballistic
...be more diffused. I made this mistake on the fountain entry a while back, as I felt the inner would diffuse slightly more, but maybe pushed it a little far, even so that also got critisism for anf against. I guess it comes down to a balance of...

...visual aesthetics. Thanks for your pointers bud, always helpful, and always apprieciated :oP
Granulated Granulated
lol... love ya mark !
WhimSea WhimSea
are you referring to the events of July 7, 2005 in London? I'm confused... your externals, especially those last 2, look like tv show... fill me in
marcoballistic marcoballistic
no no no, nothing to do with London 07.07.05, it is a visual mystery horror story, I did the parts 1 - 5 back in september-october 2005, I though it was time to return to the story.
Soze Soze
