water level looks much higher than what it should be. Maybe if the ripples were lighter and larger the water would look perfect for the road. (nevermind)

look closely Nestor, the road remains underneath, the sun glare on the water may be making you think it is deeper, but the height up the mound the gutter, sidewalk and visability of the road through it, all suggest it is only about an inch or so deep :o)
