The other has off shadows, and the shards and mug look like they are floating unfortunately, the upper corner of the table is too bright, needed toning down to compensate the mugs sitting on it. This is fantastic this entry. Only, why oh why is the sword so low res, it is very nearly totally ruining a fantastic scene, just gets away with it. But then you noticed the sword is only about 1 3rd on the table, how does it balance with the heavy hilt and rest of sword off it? mystery? However, saying all that, the shadow mistakes of the other, and the awesome yin yang and cut bamboo mug work here, this has it, it is superb, except for the god awful sword.

Another pair of good entries. The blood is rather anemic in the other entry, though the clean up and theme are solid. Here the clean up is sound, and the sliced cup is good. The spill converted to a Yin and Yang pattern is clever and well executed. The only significant weakness is the blade. Tough choice here, but I have to go with the modified spill.
