Both nicely done. The deciding factor for me was an apparent halo around the golden eggs of the other image. And a rooster with a rifle and a giant golden egg on a truck made me laugh!

HA that both of you have golden eggs in your entries. :) Very creative story here. You might have desaturated the rooster even more, though, even done the whole thing in WWII-ish grayscale. His red and orange colors make him look like a sitting duck. ;)

I like this one! Very well done. The only thing I think its missing is come more details (perhaps make a story about the golden egg and what the roosters intentions are, is it trying to steal it back or is it defending it?). The other entry is ok but honestly doesn't have much to draw the viewers attention...doesn't make much sense to me.
