How did you get your PSC nickname?
Its an old nickname of mine, i used to play alot of video games when i was younger and Sonic was one of my faves, It just stuck.

What is your real name and age?
Real age! Oh ok then My name is Glen Unsworth and i'm 42 :(

Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
I live in the county of Devon, which is in south west England

What do you do to keep the bills paid?
I'm a Quality Control Technician for a large photo/photo gift processing company, we print digital images all sizes and photo gifts such as mugs, books, mouse mats etc. I've been at the company 23 years and i enjoy my job.

What do you do in your spare time?
Well i used to play Pool for my county, but these days i like to trek out with my camera and tripod. Also i like to travel the world in my holidays and plan to see as much of the world as i can in my short time here.

How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
I found it by accident while browsing, i think i like it here as its the only site thats made me feel at home.

If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
Make it more fun.....but not sure how

Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?

How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
I have no idea, and dont intend to work it out as it might scare me

What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
Flickr, Facebook, Photobucket, Ebay, Play

What tools do you use to chop?
I am currently using Photoshop CS5, and i have a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. I use my HP Pavilion DV5 laptop to chop, and at some point i plan to get a tower pc with a little more power.

What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
Thats the one thing i have no idea about, i like most of us here look at an image at different angles and hope that an idea comes about, if not i seem to find that when a contest has already started and i look what others have done with the source image it seems to set off a spark and i get an idea.

What inspires you?
What inspires me! Mmmmm i would have to say some of the great artists on this site, there are so many and i look up to them all.

Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
just go with the flow

What style of chop do you prefer to create?
I actually prefer fantasy, but if you dont get an idea then forget it. But i do like realism, its hard to get it right but when you do its great.

Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
I'll use what ever i feel like using at the time

When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
To be honest i'm never completely happy until the very end

What is the limit to what you will chop?
Blood is ok, but religion i try to stay away from, i'm not here to upset anyone and thats a sure way to do just that

Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?

What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
Be aware of sharp edges on objects, put a 1 or 2 pixel feather on all edges and it will help it to blend in better.

There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
As long as you can see that some of the source has been used then thats ok, i'm not sure about chops where you cant tell if the source was used or not. As for animations, i love em and there is a place for them here.

What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
Google images

In your opinion what makes a good chop?

Do you have a system to get things started?

Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?

After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?

If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?

What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?

Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?

Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?

We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)

What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?

What do you consider your best chop so far?

What do you consider your worst chop so far?

Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?

What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?

What is the best chop of all time?

Do you have any other PSC related comments to add?
