Some of you are probably wondering what the ‘Like a Storm’ contest is all about. Not too long ago I was contacted by Chad L. who works with Total Assault to promote various bands. One of his ideas was to create a contest on PSC for the band Like a Storm. This would be an amazing addition to a participant’s design portfolio.

We have gotten reports of PM spam lately. They are using signatures that make it appear that they are part of the administration team here. This is not true.

The gif contest is open for entries... Jordan has about 4-5 so far. Entries are due Sunday, and will be open for voting on Monday, January 25. The thread "Ready set gif" http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=13382 will explain the rest. Thank you in advance.

We're having a gif contest soon and need to get a list of participants together, so, sign up in this thread. CLICK HERE There will be less restrictions on file size, but we'll stick with the 550 x 450 image size. You must use Photoshop to create your gif. The source will be given to both Advantage and non-Advantage members on a Friday, you chop for 4-5 days and then the contest will open for 3 days like the daily contests do. Refer to the thread link above for more information.

I spent my last few days buying gifts for my family. Christmas is always sort of bittersweet for me. I never really know what to get people...I don't mind buying a gift, but it's always the problem of choosing the right gift. Then when the moment comes, it's always nice to see they liked what you gave them.

This is a very fun time for the PSC family to get together before christmas and spread a little holiday cheer to our fellow PSC friends. A Kris Kringle is one who makes (using photoshop) a chopped image , an animation or a tribute to there fellow PSC member for Christmas.

Server Maintenance   (PSC News)

On Thursday, October 29, 2009 between 12:00am and 6:00am US Eastern, PSC's webhost will perform maintenance on the PSC server. A reboot of the server will be required. The downtime is not expected to exceed 15 minutes.
