agreed, when printing an image, never EVER use save for web, but if youre just viewing pictures on-line, you can use that function and wont loose any detail without having to mak ...

Just make it a little smaller and surprisingly it will take it down alot of KBs.

OR just go, FILE/Save for web... thats what i use most times. also make sure that the dimensions are less than 550 ...
