I have a photocard that has a picture and text box and want to horz. and vert. align them both...what is the easiest way for this?

I created a photo Christmas card and saved as JPG format without aligning my layers. Is there a way to unlock (partially locked now) and align the picture, text, etc? Or do I have to start all over? ...
