I think that imageready is definitely not you friend in this situation. If i was doing it id go with flash or after effects or try toon boom studio.
Just a note: 10 minutes = 600 seconds =14 400 fram ...

if you are saving to disc you dont have a problem, use imageready? dont be afraid of using the "delete animation btn" then the "make frames from layers" btn, scaeres the crap out o ...
