Naiko, I'm posting Succubus for tomorrow, I couldn't help it, I had nothing else going, did you ever see the SouthPark episode with Succubus? It was a classic. Also, all the Water Hyacinth pictures are killer, see what happens when you have a nice source photo to work with? Hint Hint

Holic..;for your problem of contrast, its simple to play with curves, or/and sharpened mask....

I can't seem to figure out how you get that color style going, to me that's one of the reasons your style is so unique here. I'll keep trying, but until then I should leave it up to the professionals. Laughing

i put an explanation for the color in this thread Bso, it's something about with the neutral color (SELECTIVE COLOR).. But u can do it with layers too...whatever its not a big deal....it's a simple action.
