Hi, just wondering how to create a profile picture that fits the size requirements and still looks good? I can't seem to figure it out....Thanks!

but the one you're using right now is way under sized (in both actual dimensions AND file size !

one thing you can do, is use the sharpen filter before reducing the size to 70 x 70... that really helps.
also what was said before save for web when you're done.

I try and remember to use lanczos to downsize (externally) and I use a spline resizer for enlarging.

If I make the image 70 by 70, it will be over 6 kbs.... how do I save it to the web??

In photoshop choose

File -> Save for web... (alt-shift-ctrl-s)

On the right side you get options about quality and stuff
on top you have tabs, optimal is the tab wich displays the image after optimizing

on the left bottom part you'll get the estimated file size

Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S

choose jpeg and use 70 for quality and everything will be ok...

and donīt use herectic images... thatīs my trademark...
