Argh! I'm challenged in some way. It hardly matters, since this is one of my crappier chops, if you can even call it that, but can anyone tell me why my gif isn't right? I've resized it three times, and I just keep getting that error message. Any ideas?
First try:

Thought it might be too small, so I did this:

Then I thought THAT one might be too big, so I did this:

What the crap!

Looks like a size issue to me.

The gif has to be within these parameters
it can be no larger than 550 x 450 & no smaller than 500 x 350.

mine today was 500 x 350. I normally start my gif chops at 550 x 400 and reduce it to 500 x 350 if it doesn't go under the 512kb no fly zone.

ok I pulled the 3rd one and loaded it into Image ready... its 450x450 hun

and the second one is 500 x 500.

both will not do. theres you're problem.
I know the first is too small just by looking at it...

but while your fixing... you may want to make your finger press the can, and have the spray come out and grow, instead of just having it spray Wink

Shocked Laughing why do I hear A Christmas Story? "In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan."

Well at any rate I'm glad you took on the project tiff. When people finally decide to try to animate for themselves and see what kind of road blocks you have to steer though. It makes one appreciate how difficult it is to make something

A) that fits within the parameters of this site
B) still looks good after its finished.

I know I was in this boat of not liking gif's till I tried making them for myself. Live and learn. Very Happy

Cheers!

I've been able to keep the resolution pretty high most times mikey... there are ways to keep the thing looking nice even with the restrictions...

I'm more than happy to share my tips and techniques with anyone who's interested. I've already helped a few people. I wish I knew how to make a tutorial... I think that would be a lot easier on myself Laughing
