I used a Panasonic FZ20, which has a built in 12x zoom lens (which is nice for shooting the moon).
I stuck it on a tripod and shot away.
I used manual mode. You can really see the difference in brightness when you look at it with shutter speed.
In the blood moon phase I was making exposures of a couple seconds or more. But with the last shot, I think that was 1/800th of a second.

Fantastic Luis!! Excellent shots. You have a much nicer moon in Spain. Very good shots.

Thanks Bob.I think we share the same moon though ,hehe ...we just have less clouds where I live... Laughing I love the eerie, misty photos you took btw, nice mood they set with those twisting branches and the bite on the moon Smile

Okay here they are.I am very pleased with the results.Lots of work but I am satisfied.I even managed to make a gif out of the stills.I took 70 photos in all of which I used the best 16 for the final Phase chart. The gif has 27 frames, which is over a third of the photos taken.I used my Nikon D70s digital camara with a Nikkor Zoom AF-G 70-300 mm. lens.I used a tripod to steady the camara and used mainly the P (programable) or night scene default settings.I actually did this a little haphazard since I took the fotos at sporadic intervals (although I did get most of the major transitions). If I would have been more precise in the timing of each photo I could have made a really decent GIF Smile .BTW The photos were not post edited in any way,I just used PS to resize and centre them. The colours and light are as they came out of the camara. I hope you like them. Very Happy

Nice going. You went manual and did a fine job on the exposure. It was tricky with such high contrast and magnification.
