it looks like a great idea as long as we run it along side the pscroll i would love to take part.

just one quesion does anyone know how to start one of these or even where to get the software.

i don't mind hosting it on my site once it starts if needed.

well, I almost finished the new pscroll site (should be up in a few days, finally , other things got me busy).

It might be easy to implement such a thing too, since there is allready a user section in there . But I could host it

I don't think we'd really need software. What we'd do is create an image of the side of the building, but it would be solid blank wall. There would be a bit of white "empty" space on each side to allow for balconies, signs, whatever. then everyone would download the blank wall template, do whatever to it, then re-submit it. Then, someone like Splodge would take them all and combine them like the scroll.
