I was at borders books store the other day and came across the book Photoshop CS2 Gone Wild it look like cool book to check out they wanted like 30 or 40 bucks for it. I found it on e-bay today new for 11 bucks so I bought it. I was wondering if anyone here has use this book and if so did you learn a lot or tips and tricks form it? I had one class in school using Photoshop and we used the class in a book for CS2 I still use it once in a while but Im looking to other things to help get better with Photoshop. Can any tell me some titles of some good books to get I got the newest issue of Photoshop User mag. I like. I wanna get really good with Photoshop I would like to become cerified in it. Is anyone here Adobe Certified? Well sorry to ramble I tend to do that sometimes. Thanks to anyone that can give me info on where to look for some good books.

I'm to thick for "book learning" if it ain't on video i don't use it, try a few of these,
http://www.bluetorials.com/free%20stuff/ps_tuts.html
or a total training DVD, lazy learning.
or stick around here for a while, slow learning but genius does rub off on you

I have the book, I think it is quite good especially for a beginner, you can learn quite a few tips and techniques. Although I tend to read through and then try out my own version, I do not really like to follow step by step tutorials, but I like to see how something is done and then do my own thing.

It´s something you use to adjust the height of your monitor.

I love the Scott Kelby books..."Down and Dirty Photoshop Tricks". I think he has them out for every version of PS. The part I like about them is that theres no yakkin in it. He shows you the effect and then tells you how to get it done. No 5 pages of junk before you finally get to the "how to".
here is a link to one to check out. He has a wide variety of books out but I like these alot.

my hero! I buy books because the covers are cool so I can stare at them and figure out what's going on inside the actual book.
