Ok, so basically i found this really cool collection of 3700 fonts for photoshop and while they really came in handy it considerably slowed down photoshop. i was just curious if anyone knew of a way to load fonts when needed or knew of a way to only let system resources be used when the fonts were needed.

thanks for any input,
nick

I just keep my fonts in a zipped file and pull them up when I want them but you have to know what fonts you want, there is no preview of them to choose and pick. It's almost easier to go to dafont and browse and download than to hunt thru a zillion fonts. Hope you find the answer.

Maybe burning them to a cd and then dragging over from the cd would be better as you wouldn't have the fonts zipped. Very Happy

CS3 waits until you use TEXT before loading up the fonts.

just wanted to say thanks for all the input i'll definitely take it all into consideration, however as far as CS3 goes thats a little out of my price range right now but at least its another incentive to start saving up lol
