I tell ya, this one is a keeper Wink

I was talking to Naiko about doing an Add 1 Thing Thread, a collaboration of art styles, keeping it real, with no bullshit, maybe add it to the scroll, when it gets good, what do you guys think?

I have a question about this add one stuff.

If you upload a jpg file, all the different add ons are fixed. But what if you upload an image created in imageready and then safed as gif, the way you safe moving images. Would that not give you all the different layers used to build up the image, if everybody does the same? The next person could open the image in Image Ready and then work on it in photoshop. vise versa.

Or is this only workable for moving images?

Good question, Anna, and I used to wonder the same thing. Everything visible in each frame is locked into one layer. We would need one frame for just each element that was added in order to see them as separate layers in a downloaded .gif. Unfortunately, too, image quality is much lower with color-limited .gifs than in regular flat .jpgs. But the practice of precision cutting around things in the foreground to incorporate something in the background, and doing so quickly, is a big part of what this game is about! Smile
