Well, I have about as much time to make a nice breakfast nowadays as I do to participate on PSC (almost nil) but I happen to have the time to do both this morning, so I thought I'd share my morning creation with you all since it seems to be the "in" thing to do.

I decided to throw together a simple but delicious concoction that some like to call a "McMuffin." Don't be fooled, though; this is far superior to any fast-food rubbish. This is not a tasteless, cold, doughy, and puny lump that I, as well as others, nevertheless scarf down whenever they get the chance. No, this is much, much more... Today, we will be making a McMason! (yeah, I know. laaame, but what the hell else am I going to call it?)

Here are our ingredients: (Not shown are pepper, salt, and extra but unneeded condiments)

Go ahead and cut the bisuit/muffin in half, and throw it in the toaster to await toasting later.

now we're going to do the egg/s first, so butter up the pan after letting it heat up:

Throw in the ol' chicken fetus:

Cooking...

Getting there...

I like my egg yolks hard... no nasty, runny protein...bleh.

Ok, now that the egg is done, put it to the side. You can keep it warm in the oven if you're a slow cooker...Now we move on to the greatest invention known to man: Bacon. Bacon is the epitome of meat, the perfect solution for a delicious, portable and long-lasting meat product. And what's great is that this is no t just your average bacon. this is the two-inch wide MAPLE FLAVORED bacon, which is the bacon of all bacon.

so let's fry some pork already!

A little more...

A liittle moooore...

cooking...

close to perfection...start toasting your muffin/bagel/biscuit now! Go go go!

throw some cheese on your awaiting egg as well. See how it gets all melty?

ok, the four main ingredients have almost completed transformation into the holy breakfast sandwich.

It puts the bacon on the egg, or it gets the...incorrect...order... again? (Yuuum, look at all that delicious greasy, butteriness.)

Now pour yourself some fiiiine whole milk or good, old fashioned, hand-squeezed orange juice. (Minute Maid if you're lazy)

Little 25-cent Alien Man gives it two thumbs up!

you're good! Laughing

really though, although I'd love to eat like this every morning, I'm lucky if I get something like this once a month. I rarely get to eat breakfast or lunch. I survive on dinner mostly. Not my choice, but that's how it goes...
