Im a big fan of he all source, never made it a secret.
(gets out the acme soapbox)

I beleive that all source is no better than any other type of PS image...I beleive it takes that little bit more to come up with an all source image.

Its no more vote whoring to put
"All source and PS work" than it is to say "100 layers, 5 externals, and PS work"

We give a sculptor a lump of clay and he turns it into an art work, the painter uses his brush and colours to produce a master piece...I consider these all source works as well but very different in mediums. The problem with our chosen medium, digital art work is that the boundary's cross in so many different ways.

So it comes down to what ya like, and what you don't like, (I refuse to enter the friend base debate ok)

As for links MD, well there are over 50 about source no source, external images, sweet giffy magic and will be 100's more mate. here are some links to those I remembered:
http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=8231
http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=8569
http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=6445
and maybe an answer is found here to why this is always a big debate
http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=3095

replace acme soapbox in the corner, it is available to any who want the use it

Voting, Whoring, Chopping, etc. ... nice and exciting, but I want to bring another aspect of PSC, that was not mentioned here yet: Great people are around here, we have fun together, we learn from each other, we help each other, and hell its so cool to get the hint to a problem from someone living on another continent within minutes! THATS great!!! Very Happy
MD and MM: you did some good chops here already, and I like your work, so everything was said and done to be kind of friends again!

haha, i'm not trying to change the game, or make anyone upset. I have been using photoshop for years now but not in this way and I love to think creatively and this is a great release. No grudges here just trying to understand Very Happy

"All source" means nothing to me because I have seen too many who are not honest. And after 50+ votes, and after someone questions something, the truth comes out.

By that time, the image that was honest and well done has dropped to 2nd or 3rd place.

Even many of the "well-respected" choppers have been duped.....often.
