Hey I've used this site for a year or two now for my computers wallpaper. Anyone know what program is used to make these?

Did you bother to try and do just a bit of research on that site?

On the left hand side there's a handy menu. Look down at the "site info" section. The "my tools" link should pretty much answer your question.

i was checking out the links page.....and came across Vision Afar...a site by a guy named Gary Tonge......he has a couple of imiages that are under the process page.....where he shows how he comes up with the scene's...Now, they say made with PS.(ps7 and CS)....but i notice he has a layer with 3d grids.....does Ps have those and i just overlooked them??....or .....does he make them in 3dCAD or whatever...and then save the file and open it in PS.

I'm asking about the grids only....i know Vok messes with 3d so he knows the grids i am refering to.

EDIT:...hey Nice wallpaper Splodge......the menu that is linked to the site is a very neat idea.

The author says: Although I use the computer heavily, I don't utilize 3D packages to a great extent (except at work, where I wallow in them). I will, once in a while use one to create the basic structure for a picture on the screen for me to work over. I always prefer to work free hand, brushing a picture to life. This gives me a greater feeling of achievement with the final piece.

The "grids" look like they're drawn in PS (or imported from Illustrator) and used for a reference.

O.k. thanks VOK, i think they are called perspective and plane grids.I could have remembered that in my first post ....huh?......it would be nice to have those, that were adjustable by grabbing the center. i know you can customize grids in PS but i did not think, that was possible.

You happen to know the file type when saving from a cad to open in ps......i know i'm being lazy....i'll google for it. Smile

Another "i wish" PS had. Shot to shit Laughing.
