I just began my PSC journey this week. I have begun uploading images to the contests. I am not looking to win the contests as I have just begun using Photoshop beyond the image resizing and for creating DVD labels!
Each contest so far has been a brand new challenge and personal best for each creation. I have never used PhotoShop in this way and I'm loving it.
I have these ideas that I am just not sure how to execute. If anyone would like to share in helping, I'd like some critiques of my work with ways I could have executed better and techniques to use.
PM is a good way to send me some tips if anyone out there would like to help.

welcome jen, you will have loads of fun here and learn many a new things. i've seen some stuff you've made and i think you have creative ideas. you'll fit just right amoungst all us loonies

Glad you're having fun. One thing to remember is most of the comments regarding entries are to help you get better.
So don't be concerned if you don't understand suggestions. Ask the person for further explanation or clarification. Also if you see a style or technique being used that you like. Ask the person posting and see what they tell you. You may be pleasantly surprised.
The biggest thing is try new ideas and try doing things with pieces outside the proverbial box.
So glad you're having fun. Looking forward to your future entries.
