Ok, I'm sure there's a perfectly simple explanation and I'm missing it.

Rules are ... at least 500x350 and no more than 125k ... for the life of me I can't get the blasted pic to do that!

Help .. please

"Save for Web" is your best option for saving pics for the contests cause you have alot more control over it. Are ya gonna share what it was?

Yes thanks Mindgraph, I will use save for web. It was the jpg options in CS2 ... I had it set on large file ... doh
