Just came across this extension for us Firefox users yesterday:

VERY cool and very useful...for me anyways.

I've got all of the sites that the kids go to sorted into one group so all they have to do is click the Speed Dial icon and up pops a screen FULL of the sites they go to.

And I'm working on another group for my most visited stock image sites and such.
