Maybe you could elaborate? That might lend some legitimacy to your rant.

i'll look at a post and i like it, i'll look at how many votes it already has, if i think it is over voted no matter how much i like it, i wont vote for it, if i look at a post and has something going for it, but not a lot, i'll look at the how many votes it already has, if i think it's under voted i'll vote for it, no matter how cut and paste it is, if i see a post in the forums with more than aprox 6 lines of text i wont read it, so i'll shut up now.
sorry dew dew, i rarely read your posts Laughing

Err.. if you really like something and it's over-voted, doesn't that mean that most ppl really like it?
Seriously.. that's BS. (no offence Smile )

If I like something, I vote for it, I don't look at how many votes it already has because that has nothing to do with how I am supposed to like an image.

call me paranoid, but if something is being over voted i know there's a lot of buddy voting going on, 5 years on this site tells me what a post is worth, like a good anteque dealer can tell the value of real art

Not necessarily.

Just because certain people "like" a chop and vote for it doesn't mean that there aren't obvious flaws in it that some members find appalling...flaws that...and I'm speaking for myself now...look so so easy to correct.

It's nothing to do with what people like. It's all about the technique and effort put forth...or lack thereof.

(my 2 cents.)
