Okay. Survived the trip to the Seattle area. Have started drinking American beer (actually it is an amber from Alaska, so it almost doesn't count!) so far so good!



I'm sure Matt and I will have one or two pictures to share with you all when we're through with this.

And to all my other-worldly friends, I truly appreciate the offers and won't you be frickin surprised when i take you up on them in the future! (Amsterdamned is on my list, y'know?)

UPDATE from the ROAD: Okay - I saw the MOUNTAIN (I still can't believe they spelled it WRONG!)

I'm just coming out of the Mt.RainMan National Park now - what a drive. In a few hours I'll be making sure that SkaterPlunk eats all his greens and brushes his teeth before bed.

I saw the mountain today! YAY!



It was touch and go for a bit as the sky was seriously hazy and at first you couldn't see an inch of the mountain... then (with a Great Huzzah!) the mist parted and there she was.

Now I must let the American Government know that they have definately spelled Mt. Reinier incorrectly on their maps!

Okay - any time now i'll be calling SkaterAterPogoPunkDOOD and we'll commence with some form of DRINKING!
